Miller Time

Ryan Miller is coming out of hiding...

And he's bringing his game face...

...And of course, the sass.

Everyone's excited.

Hopefully we see a lot of sick saves...

Oh hi, Dominic.

And not so much of this...

I was at that game...sahhh sad.

Hopefully the at the end of the game we'll see a bunch of this:

Maybe in his post-game interview we'll be treated to some of his thoughtful insight, sarcasm, and dry sense of humor...

And if we're lucky enough, we'll see some quintessential Ryan Miller sassiness.

...Now, I hope people don't confuse this Ryan Miller lovefest as me thinking that he's going to come in and save the season and single-handedly carry this team into the playoffs (although that would be kind of cool), of course we can't expect that to happen. So while Ryan Miller isn't Jesus who'll be our savior, at least he sometimes looks like Jesus...

That's a start, isn't it?

So fans, I know it's been a rough couple of weeks...and it's been real hard to find the slightest bit of optimism or hope, but let's try and enjoy the last few weeks of the hockey season and maybe watching Ryan Miller compete will make this team somewhat enjoyable to watch again. Let's all rejoice!

I made that...I don't know whether I should be proud or embarrassed.

Thanks for the great photos. Wow. Team definitely needs the "sass" attitude to show up tomorrow night.

Still concerned about the ankle but if he says he's ready, then that works for me too.

Loved the team's attitude at the end of the game last night. Where has that been lately?

Are you going to the game tomorrow? Sending winning vibes from the Valley of the Sun, where we're out here disrespecting Shane Doan and the Coyotes and loving the Sabres.

No problem! I'm worried about Ryan getting re-injured too, but if he's ready to go then I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Last night was a real fun game to watch. After the dreaded third period collapse game after game, this team actually rallied for a big win. I got a kick out of Max celebrating his empty netter before he started throwing punches. And it was nice to see his teammates standing up for him after he took a cheap shot.

I'm not going to the game tomorrow (I decided not to go to any more Leafs games because their fans are too obnoxious and they take the fun out of it sometimes), but I wish I was so I could see Ryan's debut. Of course I'll be watching on TV, though.

I personally approve your seal of approval. Excellent!

I hope his sassiness rubs off on the team tomorrow to face a Leafs team that is doing well as of late at the end of the year. I don't have much doubt though that the guys will play well. I think last night's win was a huge boost for them.

Thanks! Yeah, I think having Ryan between the pipes again will be a big boost for the team. Just because they're used to his tendencies, communication, and just for the fact that he's a goalie that can come up with a big save at crucial times. Plus with last night's win it should give the guys a nice boost of confidence.

I sort of hope the team doesn't decide to make stupid decisions in their own end that causes Ryan to strain his ankle much. I know he'll still be able to make the big save, but he might tweak it...I hope that doesn't happen!

I think Ryan would approve that seal of approval.

Also, I love that face he's making. And I'm sooooo excited he's coming back!! Woo!

Yeah the thought of him getting re-injured is in the back of my mind...but if he's ready to come back then I guess you just have to respect that and believe that he'll be alright.

I'm very pleased to think that Ryan would approve his seal of approval. His face is priceless in that picture. I am so glad that he's coming back! It's been kind of depressing watching them lately (excluding last night) so it's going to be really nice to see Ryan out there again!

Why thank you, Phil. I figured I'd whip out a good old fashioned Ryan Miller lovefest since it's been seriously Miller-deprived in Sabreland the last few weeks. I too am looking forward to the sass, saves, and of course his new mask. Hopefully it's finished!

hahahaha.... that was great! One of the best pictures stories I have ever read! I esp. love the Ryan Miller Seal of approval. Maybe he'll start using that in his blog or store. It's quite eye-catching.

Why thank you! That would be awesome if Ryan could use his seal of approval...as long as I receive compensation. I accept traveler's checks, personal checks, cash, and pay pal.

Well, of course. I think he can afford it.
