Welcome to my blog about hockey - mainly about the Buffalo Sabres. Here you'll find my thoughts and opinions about the game of hockey. There will be times where I'll stray off-topic and I'll post about other things that I feel the need to blog about, but for the most part this is my blog for hockey. I hope you enjoy reading!

The photo used for the Hockey Night in Buffalo banner was taken by Mike Lynaugh.
I hope Ryan realizes how proud he's made Americans, Sabres fans, and Buffalonians. There's no one I would want to represent our hockey team and city in the Olympics more than an athlete and person like him. He's done us proud. <3

I totally agree with you. I'm so proud of Ryan & the boys & even though they won the silver they are all #1 with me!
Wonderful photo of the new face of USA Hockey. So glad to see a smile on his face and a beautiful and well earned silver metal on his neck.
Ryan and teammates - welcome to the small group of US Men's Ice Hockey Olympic Medalists. We're so proud of each and everyone of you. We've also been waiting a long time for you Ryan!! :)
Memorable moment for me - seeing Ryan and Lindy on the ice post-game yesterday. Priceless.
I almost started crying when I saw Lindy consoling Ryan during the handshake...it was very precious. Aww...although I am disappointed that US didn't win gold, it still makes me feel good that Lindy played a role in Canada's victory. You have to be happy for him.
I'm with you, Caroline - as hard as it was to see the disappointment on the boys' faces, the Miller-Ruff moment was by far the tear-jerkiest. I can't believe how bad I feel for our guys - it's actually hard to look at some of the post-game photos. I hope they realize how much they have to be proud of.
I know...they kept showing close ups of Ryan and I was like, "Pleeaaasee stoppppp!" because he looked so crushed, and it was making me sad. Nice to see that Lindy got a smile out of him though, and I'm glad he was enjoying the closing ceremonies.

I can't wait to see the reaction that he gets Wednesday night in Buffalo.
And red and navy blue look really good on him. /shallow
I'm going to be at the game on Wednesday, so I'm real excited to give Ryan a standing ovation.
Haha, yes USA's outfits are real cute. My favorite part is the hat.
