Smart, well spoken, honest, no BS cliche crap and speaks his mind. I would have loved to heard his "evaluation"/"exit interview" or whatever they are calling it this year with Lindy and the management. Rivet may wear the "C" on his jersey but I think the real leader of this team is #30.

Amen Jill about he D & B crap. Enough. But the media unfortunately will likely never let it go. Ever.

Caroline, very interesting 4:30am Easter morning "adventure". :)
I agree, not only in hockey but sports in general, athlete's interviews can be pretty predictable. Sometimes it's because of the questions they are asked. But Miller is unique because he's very analytical and honest. It gives us a good insight into important aspects of the game that maybe fans don't understand as much because they don't play hockey or at least hockey at the professional level. Makes you wonder if they should have Miller sit in with Darcy & co during their evaluation and have him put in his two cents hahaCarolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01486889541963109439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780222448081818.post-72038175006666237012009-04-14T21:38:00.000-04:002009-04-14T21:38:00.000-04:00Another classic sassy goalie interview. The cool thing about her music is that her lyrics are so politcally connected, yet the music is just a good beat to dance to at a club or something. So you think you're just dancing to a fun song with a good beat, when in reality the song has some important and heavy meanings behind it.Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01486889541963109439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780222448081818.post-1512742362566371152009-04-14T18:03:00.000-04:002009-04-14T18:03:00.000-04:00That lyric was what first popped into my mind when...That lyric was what first popped into my mind when Miller repeatedly used one of my favorite words, "swagger."Same here! He makes the most sense, doesn't beat around the bush, and will throw himself under the bus as much as the next. He doesn't hold a pity party and mans up for any mistake. What more can you ask for? His are always extremely insightful and thoughtful, and I appreciate that as a fan because it helps me understand certain topics better.Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01486889541963109439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780222448081818.post-26054257031265330732009-04-14T15:07:00.000-04:002009-04-14T15:07:00.000-04:00I love listening to interviews with Miller, becaus...I love listening to interviews with Miller, because unlike so many, he actually speaks his mind and answers questions honestly and without cliches.

I think he's right that this team has a ton of talent - they simply need to make a few long overdue changes......improve the heart and leadership that this team has been missing.

http://hockey-sense.today.com/2009/04/14/the-season-in-review-the-2008-2009-buffalo-sabres/Normhttp://hockey-sense.today.comnoreply@blogger.com
