Isn't it strange how three days off seems like two weeks in hockey? I can't wait to see them play again. It seems like it's been so long since they played against New Jersey...good thing tomorrow night they'll be playing against....New Jersey. My question of whether or not Ryan Miller has shaved will finally be answered. I've been left hanging for three days! I'm guessing he has, but it would be pretty badass if he hadn't. These are the questions that keep me awake at night. Only kidding. But I love me some Jesus-looking goaltenders.
Um, so uh...speaking of Jesus, I decorated my Christmas tree last night! Here are some peekturessss:
The flash kind of ruins it, but the lighting was poor so without the flash made it pretty blurry...you get the idea though.

I strategically placed this ornament near the Ryan Miller one...oh yeah I'm clever.
So tomorrow I want to do some window shopping on Elmwood to get some ideas on what to get my friends and family. I'm thinking maybe I'll head on over to the arena beforehand to watch the boys practice at the morning skate. I haven't been to a morning skate in a long time and I figured it's probably best to go during the week because not that many people will be there. We'll see...

The way it looks I bet he shaves once ever week to week and half in some crazy goalie superstitious fashion. Maybe he only shaves a few days before road games... never on the road... or only on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday if they fall on odd days... Then what if he forgets to charge the battery on his razor? Or what if he uses a regular razor and Wegmans doesn't has his favorite shaving gel or refills? Does he drive to the next Wegmans to look there? This could drive someone insane! LOL!
Oh to be in head... I so want to talk to him and find out these things. Not to pick on him but to see how he ticks... I think it would fun to kick back, have a few drinks and pick his brain. Like what does he eat on game day... or what are he won't do on game day.

Hahaha I have no idea. Who knows. All I know is homeboy looks good with some scruff. He looks good when he's all clean shaven too BUT as I have mentioned before I think I have a thing for hippie looking dudes who may or may not resemble Jesus.
Hell yeah, it would definitely be really interesting to have a conversation with him about that stuff. I LOVE hearing about crazy goalie stuff like that because I've always had a soft spot for goalies. Partially because they are so batshit crazy...I love it.

I can't imagine that he would leave something as important as razors & shaving gel up to the whims of some supermarket stock clerk. I say he probably has a storehouse of those and other essentials to gameday preparation in his basement...

The next time I see Ryan Miller I'll be sure to ask him. Can you picture it? "So Ryan...HOW do you shave? How often? What do you use? How often do you stock up on supplies?"
